Bitch, bitch, bitch – never offer a solution.

Recently I got a e-mail from a old friend, this guy is a ardent Republican, he has sent me stuff for years. In my opinion he is a very thoughtless one, always bitching never putting forth solutions.
I was hoping that since the election was over this crap would cease, however it seems not. I have a few Republican buddies, however most are smart enough never to send me stuff not carefully thought out, this old buddy is not in that group.
He sent me something raving about our speaker of the House, that she was advocating giving our money to illegals, etc. etc. I looked into it just a bit, enough to know that I must know a lot more before understanding the bill and the reasons behind it. So I told him that I would certainly NOT send it on to others untill and if I wished to study it carefully.
I am told by my heart docs that I should refrain from stress, one way for me to relieve stress is to give someone two barrels, which I did. I cleaned my remarks to him up a bit and am sending it for you to read if you wish.
What I hate more than anything is a person that constantly bitches, BUT they never do a darn thing, never have a plan to do anything. In the case of politics that is really the difference between the Democrats and the Republicans. The Democrats TRY to do something to benefit our citizens, the Republicans only react, never make plans to help folks that need it. That really pisses me off. Bitch about others but never have a plan to help others, that is what I see in Republicans. There are many things that I like and respect in true Republican beliefs, however that parties lack of making plans to help folks in need — is what I least respect and hate about the party.
Anyway, here is a copy of my remarks to my old buddy:–

The Democrats at least attempt to come up with plans to help our nation. Hey, they may not all be perfect but they damn well try, they try to do something, try to help, don’t sit on their ass doing nothing but bitch, bitch bitch! Next time you send me something bitching about some one that may be trying to do something for others, tell me of your alternative plan.
Or is it to hell with poor folks, let em starve, let em die – I got mine —screw everyone else.
Sally and I have a few dollars, don’t owe a dime, I am proud to be taxed, proud to help others, proud to be an American and be in a land that gives a darn about others, did not happen under Bush, –but looks like the good guys are back.
If you want to bitch, do so about your Republicans buddies that just finished destroying all of the rest of us American’s finances. When Bush came to power my savings were worth something, under Clinton our few hundred thousands saved for the kids was worth something. Eight years later under your Republican friends my money is worth half of what it was before your wonderful party took power. Bush and your Republicans screwed my family and me out of hundreds of thousands in buying power, my dollar on the world markets is crap now. The last eight years was the biggest rape of our nation’s citizens the world has ever seen. And you are stupid enough to bitch about some Democratic legislation?
Folks not caring about others in this world are the problem; sorry but your attitude is the problem. And no I will not just pass this on to others not until I have time to study it carefully which is something I doubt you did. Fred

Hi uncle Fred,hope you are well.It seems to me that the Rep. ONLY hope for redemption,within the next ten years or so,is to get behind President Obama as fast as possible,to work with him in all ways to repair the severe damage to our great Nation.Then,8 years from now,they can go before the public and say,we have reformed,we have changed our ways,we actually care about you lowly plebes and proles.IF,however,they appear to be blocking and obstructing President Obama,in this time of crisis,they push out the time of their redemption AT LEAST another ten years from the end of President Obama’s second term.I just wonder what clueless sacrificial lamb they plan on running against a formidable President Obama in 2012???Good Luck!!!!!!!Mark.

Dear Mark, fully agree. Politics to me can be very confusing. What we really need is a rule book or guidelines of behavior for each party.
Wouldn’t that be a cool idea if each party had a rule book that they had to adhere to. Seems the past years the Republican get in and get too damn greedy. To me it is amazing that they are that way as they are paid well, get lifetime pensions that are huge, why would they get so greedy? Of course, this is not just the Republicans, the Democrats can have their hands out also.
I truly believe that Obama is not like that, so it will be interesting to see if he can clean up Washington a bit. Unfortunately to get things done he is going to have to “overlook” a lot of crap or get killed in the process and I could mean that literally.
At 79 years of age I would truly love to live the next 8 years to see the outcome. Maybe I will be lucky and make it although in some ways it gets lonesome as so many of my old friends from childhood are going a few each year.
It is an amazing world, it has it all, if someone had written the last years as a fiction book you would think they had an amazing ability to dream up the impossible – yet it all happened. The wars the lies, the deceit, the graft, the killing, amazing it all happened, unfortunately not fiction and now we will pay and pay for letting the cowboys in the White House.
