Internet selling-eBay-Amazon-experiences!
By fred | February 21, 2008
Yes, I started a eBay store, likely the dumbest thing I did in my past couple of years is NOT do it sooner. Give it a look and tell me what you think! Go to eBay.com – click ‘stores’ – click ‘find a store’ – click ‘by store name box’ – put in – costumejewelryetc – (all one word). Let me know what you think, I can always use advise.
I was so stupid not to have done this sooner. For .03 cents per item, per month, you can list your items for sale. Yes, for a small store there is a monthly fee of around $15. Think of it, at this time I have around 600 jewelry, music CD’s and coins exposed to the entire Internet world – and for less than $35 a month. Of course, if something sell eBay wants about 12% or the sales price – not S&H, only the selling price, of course there is the .30 cents per item and another couple percent fee for PayPal witch I think is a bit of highway robbery for just handling money electronically – but what can you do.
It has been a learning experience, however sales are coming in every day and many gals and guys are buying over and over. With the old method of selling via auction on eBay the costs would often be .65 or much more just to list a item for 7 days. It was costing me often over $100 in fees spend when items did not end up with bids and had to be resold. If you want to sell on eBay, have a regular access to goods, you HAVE to have a store.
I added this to our list of catagories as I know so many are interested in selling stuff for profit on eBay, love hearing from any of you – hearing your experiences – maybe we can help each other and maybe we can help others make a few bucks on eBay and Amazon. Now Amazon and the other sites I have not tried selling on. If you have any thoughts and experieces there – let us know – tell us about it. Uncle Fred
