Full Gale Dale on America!

Finger pointing is almost a National pastime in this Country, and
will, I’m sure, continue without the aid of us, the average (more or
less) citizen, getting over involved.
So what, as President Kennedy asked of us, can we do to help our
Country?
Actually it shouldn’t be all that hard to get things moving in the
right direction again, after all, if we act as a single entity, we
could probably move mountains.
Now, I don’t really think we have any Mountains that need moving, so
lets start on simpler projects.
Face it folks! As the old saying goes, (I just love old sayings).
“We either hang together, or we shall all hang separately”.
I read in todays paper that people have gotten into the habit of
driving their cars less, and this is almost certainly the reason that
the cost of fuel has not risen to last years ridiculous prices.
That’s a plus! Keep it up.
Be a bit more selective in the foods you eat, and the clothes you
wear, and do you really need that new swim suit? Come on! You could
probably stand to lose a few pounds to look really good in it anyway.
Why not take this opportunity to make things better for yourselves
health-wise as well as money wise?
Has your Brother -in-law or cousin lost their jobs? Are you still
working? Hey! what can it cost to invite them to dinner, or loaning
them a few bucks? You don’t have to pay their mortgage off, just
offer a little help. One day, things could be reversed.
Every once in a while we have to be reminded that we belong to the
United States of America, and that United we stand. It has worked for
over two hundred years, together, it will continue to last another
couple of centuries (at least).
Our new Government has just begun to tackle our problems, and with
our help should get things moving in the right direction sooner than
you might think.
Hopefully, pulling together, we and all Americans will be climbing
out of the hole we’re in, and the Ship of State, will again be on an
even keel.
