LATEST FROM FULL GALE DALE!

During the past several weeks, the “Media”, I.E. Radio, T.V. and
NewsPapers, have been (critiquing), the Presidents first 100 days in
office.
I don’t know just why that should be so important, but decided that
(since the Papers I take), are both biased heavily on the
Conservative side, and it’s difficult to find a well balanced T.V. or
Radio station, I should make a small statement myself, to counter act
the not over flattering (reporting of the Presidents activities).
At least this was my thought’s when I started writing this.
But! Guess what? I think the GOP Propaganda Machine has already said
what most of us wanted to hear anyway.
Oh! They put it a bit differently than I might, but there it is, for
us to absorb.
The President went on a good will tour to Europe, and was criticized
for leaving the Country at this point due to our financial downswing.
(I.E. recession).
He wasn’t gone long and only accomplished renewing old good will
among our long time friends and new partners in (Western type
Democracy). We really weren’t liked particularly well, for the past
several years due to the previous Administration’s “Cold shouldering”
of most of the Free world.
I think this was worth doing, and believe most folks agree.
He, after being “advised” made a few political appointments, that
turned out to be less than ideal. Unlike previous Administrations, he
didn’t try to (Ram them down our throats), but quickly, and with more
thoughtfulness, selected replacements for these positions, that were
not only acceptable, but preferable to all concerned.
The previous Administration had insisted on a (nearly) trillion
dollar fund to aid huge companies, (who, through mismanagement), were
near to the point of going (belly up), if (bailout moneys), were not
made available to them, to save their “bacon”.
The decisions on who was to get what, and how much, was left to the
discretion of the new President, who made some of his doling of money
to Companies without knowing exactly how these money’s were to be
used, and/or, distributed.
He soon was appraised of the fact’s that part’s of these funds were
going to the same greedy Executives that were a big reason the
Companies failed in the first place.
He took almost immediate action to see that this would not be
tolerated, and soon stripped these money’s from the recipients and
has been more careful of his distributions since.
Naturally! He has been vilified by the various media outlets, for
his “gaffes”, but few have lauded his quick response, to mistakes
made, and corrections of same.
After (Somali) Pirates had taken an American manned ship over in the
Indian Ocean, he O.K.d a plan to take it back and rescue the Captain,
(who had been taken hostage). This was accomplished with no American
loss of life.
For this he was criticized for not acting faster. Hey Fans! He was
half way around the world, and still made the right calls. No loss of
American lives! I call that making the right decisions with the right
men (U.S. Navy Seals), to do the job.
A little over two years ago, Congress woman Nancy Pelosi, became the
first woman in history to become Speaker of the House.
The GOP predicted she would ruin the Nation, within 100 days in that
office.
They were wrong then, and they are, DEFINITELY, wrong now about our
President.
He has shown us ability to act quickly in emergencies, willingness
to correct mistakes, and the Statesmanship, to lead this Country
back to one of leadership throughout the World.
I think that’s a pretty good first hundred days, but being the
eternal optimist, I have to hope he will soon get the “JONES ACT”
back into the Law of the Land, and cut short the Oil profits from
keeping us under those peoples control.
It’s not yet time to start shouting “Hosanna’s”, but things are
definitely looking up!
