Dale you couldn't have said it better! How we could ever have elected folks like Bush and Cheney is a wonder of the world. Those that elected them must be hiding their heads in shame.

I am not so sure the rest of the world is coming down around us also, they seem to be holding up fairly well. I note from my eBay store - costumejewelryetc - that I am now getting orders from all over the world. The other day a lady purchased 14 bracelets from Russia of all places. Orders are coming in from Canada, Australia, France, Ireland, UK, France, Italy, I can't believe it - ladies all over the world now figure that items on sale in the U. S. are cheap and they are buying.

Another thing about Europe and the rest of the world, in many cases their government had taxed gas to the hilt, so -- they have and now buy cars that are not gas guzzlers like ours, they use less gas, in most cases always have. But yes, the whole world is hurting with the dollar dropping. The upbeat of more sales of U. S. goods to overseas buyers because our dollar is low - is not enough to halt the pain that our people will feel here as a result of stupid management of our nations finances.

Can you believe it? Billions of dollars are missing, BILLIONS of dollars are not accounted for. HOW IN THE HELL CAN YOU LOSE BILLIONS OF DOLLARS? They say there is massive thieft, stealing, graft, billions racked off in overcharges, etc. Hey, if my wife Sally is off a penny in her check book she takes an hour to find it.

No one seems to care that those Billions could educate our children, fix our roads, bridges, take care of our health care and get our social security out of trouble.

YET these folks that got us into this mess - have not been impeached - have not been shot at dawn - are still running our nation. Do we need another upraising of the people to kick em out? God willing a Democrat will be elected and at least some sanity will be restored. The gulibility of the American in accepting the gross mismanagement of our nation amazes me.

Are we in a recession? Surely you jest!
Unless your name is Bush, or perhaps Chenney, you must know that when buying Groceries, Clothing, Appliances, Gasoline, Vehicles, Tools, Houses,Toys, Writing Materials, School supplies, Entertainment, or Garden supplies, "ALL", "EVERYTHING", today costs more than it did yesterday, or the day before, or/.... But you know what I'm saying. The cost of living has now become, the cost of survival! According to todays Newspaper, we are sinking fast, and taking the rest of the world with us. Are we in a Recession? Yes! And we are picking up speed? "Like a Jet Aircraft taking off, and/or, crashing, is perhaps a more apt description. Can it be reversed? Yes! But unlikely before next year, and then only if people wishing to reverse this situation are in position to do so. The first step, of course, can be taken now if we had an administration willing to do what needs to be done. I.E. Reduce the price of Diesel Fuel. This would automatically begin the reduction of prices everywhere, and on everything. Will this be done? Ask George! I'm sure he would answer with some earth shaking bit of advice like... Duh!
