AGAINST DRILLING FOR OUR OIL – READ WHY!

Recently I received a letter from some close friends it included some clips of congress and the debates related to opening our coastal areas, Alaska, etc. to drilling – I am very much against that.
I believe most of you would be also if you research the facts. This is just a scam to get our oil by the oil companies to refine it and sell it to other nations. Please read my letter to buddies, that will explain my views and why – read it and I believe you will agree! Uncle Fred

If we did I would say –drill away. We do not– so guess what, all the fat cat oil Barons will do WITH OUR OIL is ship it out of the country to other countries, refine it there and sell it there, or to any place in the world they can get top dollar, as usual they will get rich and we will continue being screwed only with less oil in our nation.
You guys should check out the facts, our people have refused to live next to refineries for years and years fought to stop them being built. Now we need them it could take ten years to catch up with demand –the reason we are being screwed royally is not the oil –mainly it is the refining of the oil into gas.
Read and learn before jumping on board these rich guys sneaky deals to get us all worked up. Screwing us –the American public– they are experts at it.
I and most folks that have really studied this are AGAINST drilling for our oil – UNTIL we have our own capacity to refine the oil - OR WE DEMAND THAT OUR OIL –IF REFINED OUT OF THE COUNTRY WILL BE RETURNED TO US AS GAS. I will lay bets with you that you will wait a long day in hell to get the bastards to agree to that.
So– I agree and disagree. Drill for OUR oil – when we can refine OUR OIL, in the mean time we should keep it, let the other nations run out first.

Another reason to save our national oil-burning it all up as fuel is a crime.Petroleum and products derived from it are absolutely essential to a modern economy,and not as fuel only.They are in plastics,paints,fabrics,shingles,road coverings,pharmaceuticals,artificial limbs,-the list could go on for a long time.Someday,the world will run out of oil,we will have no choice but to use other things for fuel.Hadn’t we better hang on to our national reserves,so when that day comes,we won’t have to replace all those other products with poor substitutes?Also,it would be nice to sell oil to the Saudis and Russians for 2,000 dollars a barrel some day in the next century.Thanks,Mark.
